Hi, I’m Rosemary.

I am a Nutrition Consultant and Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and I am passionate about supporting, educating and empowering others to live healthy, happy, abundant lives.

I earned my Nutrition Consulting certification from Bauman College in July, 2021 and Integrative Nutrition Health Coach certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in September 2022. I am currently studying to be a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner.

My Approach

I whole heartedly believe in the power of holistic nutrition and lifestyle practices to achieve and maintain balance, resilience and optimal health and to support the healing process. I believe holistic nutrition is a foundation of health and equally important are lifestyle habits such as sleep, movement, community, non-toxic environment and mindfulness.

Through my own health journey with an eating disorder, digestive problems, reactive hypoglycemia, allergies, PMS, IBS and seemingly endless symptoms I found that food is medicine. Real, nourishing food, coupled with lifestyle interventions can be used to heal countless conditions, prevent disease and maintain optimal health. I rely on real foods–made by none other than mother earth herself–for healing and sustaining health and wellbeing. Understanding that each person is unique and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to nutrition, I offer individualized care, meeting an individual exactly where they are and empowering them to take charge of their health and happiness.

Cap o’ rushes

C·O·R stands for Cap o’ Rushes

What does it mean?

Cap o’ Rushes is an old, English fairytale I heard as a child. And when I first began plotting and planning my original business (selling my homemade salad dressing, at around 12 years old) I decided to call it Cap o’ Rushes.

Cap o’ Rushes is the story of a girl who tells her father she loves him “like fresh meat loves salt” which he received as an insult and kicked her out of the home. She eventually found a way to prepare a meal for him which was made without any salt. The food lacked flavor and essential nourishment and the father realized just how much his daughter really loved him. And don’t worry, everyone lived happily ever after!

This name resonated with me from a young age because it signifies the deep and meaningful love through nourishment and delicious flavor.
